The Internet is so full of get-rich-quick and work-from-home guides that people now hardly take a new one seriously. However, it definitely makes the task much easier by offering you the secrets of highly successful Internet marketers who learned these methods after years of hard work. The Requirements To Reach Online Success
Let's face it, most people start an online business in the hopes of becoming rich. The problem is that many people do not have a clear idea of what that really means or how to reach it.
You've heard it said before, 'mindset is everything'. I agree with that statement but many people do not get the true meaning behind that. First of all, mindset goes way beyond a desire to succeed. It is important that the individual knows what he or she believes success is. For some this may mean making $100,000 per year or per month. For others that money would be meaningless if it required 14 hour days 6 days a week. Do you see the difference?
What does success mean to you? Do you want money and material possessions? Or do you want time freedom or fame? Perhaps you have a different idea of what it means to be successful. Some people want nothing more than to have peace and harmony in their family or in a relationship.
The point is, begin with a real idea of what you want to gain from your venture. Determine specifically what success will mean to you. For me it is financial freedom. I want to be secure enough to tell my husband to retire and I want enough money to purchase a lakeside cabin. I want to ultimately work about 20 hours per week. Additionally, I want to know that when I leave this world my kids and grandkids will be okay. And yes, I even have dollar figures associated with each of those goals.
But as I build my business I cannot expect those things to happen overnight - in fact, I have been working toward those goals for over two years now. So in order to keep my focus and motivation I have learned to celebrate the smaller victories along the way. I am happy each time money is deposited into my PayPal account and I am thrilled every time I am able to pay for things out of my business profits.
Did you think this article was going to offer a step-by-step guide to reaching online success? I'm sorry, I was not trying to mislead you with the title, but I did want to wake you up to the reality behind reaching success. Begin with the end in mind and work backwards. Decide what it is going to take to reach your desired level of success and then find a way to get there. Plan your actions with daily, weekly and monthly tasks that will allow you to reach measurable goals. Celebrate each success along the way and expect some twists and turns that require you to be flexible. Know from the start that the only way you will fail is if you give up!

Creating Resource Boxes That Get Click-Throughs
Even great articles sometimes fail to do what they were written for. If the resource box is not correctly formatted it is not likely that readers will click on the link(s) provided.
Writing articles does not have to be complicated. To begin the author needs to consider the purpose of the article. The real purpose of any article is to provide information in a way that keeps the reader reading. If the reader does not read all the way to the end of the article he will miss the resource box. That means there will be no click-throughs to the website.
In essence, the article is there to provide what the reader is looking for; quality information. The article should present information, problems and solutions. All the while the writer should keep in mind the purpose behind the purpose of the article, and that is to make a sale.
So an article about bass fishing may discuss the pleasures of fishing in the perfect spot, various fishing equipment needed and how it is difficult to catch that trophy bass under specific circumstances. The article may mention the fact that a particular fishing lure is indispensible when fishing in the discussed circumstances.
This would easily build a desire for that product without a real sales pitch. Your resource box then can offer a free report about bass fishing at your site. After the reader comes to your site and subscribes to your list in order to receive the free report you will be able to market to him in the future.
Another option is to simply state that the fishing accessory can be purchased at your site. However, many people will happily try out a 'free' report or other offer more readily than they will make a purchase. So if you do not have a free offer for them you will miss out on building the list that you could.
Be sure to include the complete URL address in your resource box. Also, it is important to note that you will be allowed very little space when creating the resource box. That means that each word should be chosen wisely. Be sure to include keywords and focus on the purpose of the resource box. A quick tip, most readers do not care to read all about you in the resource box.
A very brief introduction to you as the author will suffice. After all, if you get them to click through to your site you can have a full page about you if that is what you want. The purpose of the resource box is to promote your product or service in a way that will generate sales.Limit what you say about yourself to only what relates to the article's topic.

Bum Marketing: A Sure Way To Create Online Profits!
Bum marketing is a way to promote an item without having any money at all to start with. The beauty of this is that you do not need a product of your own or even a website! And if you are consistent your efforts will pay off!
Bum marketing has been used by most Internet marketers that use article marketing. This technique has been referred to as a mindset rather than a method. The first point of bum marketing is to do what you are doing for free and to create profits while doing it.
Most Internet marketers that use bum marketing begin by deciding on a product to promote. This could be an affiliate product or the Internet marketer's own product. I do some quick research to determine keywords to target and then I begin writing articles. The same principles used for other article marketing are used during the writing process. The difference is that the writer will write more articles than is usually done to promote an item.
Most marketers begin a campaign by writing from 30 to 50 articles on the product. These articles are written over a short period of time and submitted as they become available. By the time 30 articles have been submitted the writer is likely to be seeing profits.
As the article mentioned in the beginning, this method is related to doing your promotion for free, or in effect, creating something from nothing. You do not need a website or a product of your own. In fact, when I begin bum marketing for a new campaign I set up a blog, naming it something similar or related to the product I will be promoting.
My first post is an article that discusses a problem related to the subject, one that the product will solve. My article will present the problem and discuss what an ideal solution would be. I might decided to compare the product I am promoting to one or two others, pointing out how this product solves the problem in the best way.
My second post is always a review of the product. I go through details of what the product offers and how it will be valuable. It may be a time-saver or it may save money, or perhaps it simply makes things easier. Of course, the best products do all three. Time, money, and ease of use are points that people seek.
My posts will include links to the sales letter of the product. Additionally I will include an opt-in box. There the enticement for sign-up will be a free report related to the subject. This allows me the opportunity to not only build a list, but if the reader does not click through to the sales letter but does sign up I can continue to market to him.
My free report will always have links to the product in it and sometimes additional affiliate links. Many times I add an autoresponder email series along with the free report. The more information I share with the readers the more likely they are to trust me. By developing a relationship with the reader they may choose to purchase from me in the future.
After the initial article blitz I then continue to write at least two articles per week to use for promoting the product. If no sales are made after submitting approximately 40 articles I move on to another product. I will continue to occasionally write an article for that first product but most of my efforts will be applied on something else.
That is part of the reason that it is best to have more than one product campaign going on at any one time. If one fails or the sales dry up you can always move your focus on to something else. In other words, don't put all your eggs in one basket!

Affiliate Marketing; How To Promote Those Products
Affiliate marketing may be the easiest way to get started online. You do not have to create a product or a sales letter; in fact, most of the work is done for you. The only work is in the promotion of the affiliate products.
As an online marketer you have probably dabbled in various ways of making money and tried different ways of promoting your products and services. It is likely that you have discovered affiliate marketing. This is a way of making money without having to create or design a product of your own. Instead you promote a product that belongs to and was created by someone else.
This is a great way to make money because most of the work is already done for you. All you have to do is promote the product. And actually that is not difficult given the fact that you are only pre-selling. The sales copy and true promotions will be handled by the owner of the product.
Pay per click can be very effective but if you do not know what you are doing you could spend a lot of money without seeing any real results. Learn about the method before you risk a significant amount of funds.
Many affiliate marketers simply add banners to their own websites and perhaps a line or two of text to grab the attention of the reader. This technique works but not so well. It is similar to the response that adsense ads might receive.
Another way to promote affiliate products on your website is to include an article about the topic and add links throughout the article to the affiliate products. Never be shy about where you put the banners and links. Adding them to the top of the page and throughout can be effective.
Free classified ads can be effective if you place them in the right places, categories, and your ad is convincing. It is advisable to add new ads on a daily basis when using this technique because your ad will quickly be moved down the list. Automation of free ads is possible.
By far the most effective way to promote affiliate products is through article marketing. Article marketing allows you the opportunity to write an article on the subject, presenting a problem and then a solution. All that is left is your resource box that will link the reader to your website.
Sending the reader to a site of your own is a great way to build your own list. You could offer a special bonus or a report as an incentive to get click throughs. Then have a webform on your landing page that provides access to your offer as well as links to the actual product sales letter. This gives you an opportunity to build a list that you can promote to now and later.
The articles will also help to establish you as an authority and build your credibility. You will be gaining backlinks to your websites and getting more traffic. All of that will help to increase your page rank as well. The really special thing about article marketing is that it can be done for little or no out of pocket expenses. Give it a try!

Unveiling Article Marketing Strategies Used By Experts
Article marketing is an effective means of promotion. But if you do not follow some simple strategies the time spent writing can be a wasted effort.
Article marketing is a low-cost way to promote yourself, your website, your products and your services. Although you will not have to pay a lot of out-of-pocket expenses there may be a substantial time investment needed. Of course this will depend on your level of expertise and how often you write. Article writing is one of those things that you get better and quicker at the more you do it.
Whether you are investing time or money, or both you want to get the most from your efforts. Fortunately there are easy ways to do that. Some article marketing strategies are so simple that many choose to ignore them. This is a mistake because an article that receives little or no views will get even fewer click-throughs.
Insure that your article works for you by following these quick steps:
1. Read similar articles that are doing well
2. Do search engine searches related to the topic
3. Use a note-taking system to track the main points
4. Put it all together
5. Include quality content
6. Be specific when you can
7. Keep article in easy to read and logical format
You will of course have a topic in mind before you begin the above steps. With that in mind you can simply go to one or more of the major article directories and read at least a few articles written on the topic. This will give you ideas about what to include and how to format your article.
You are always free to use ideas from the work of others but you cannot copy any of the actual words. Ideas cannot be copyrighted so you are free to gather ideas from multiple sources.
Do a search on Google, Yahoo, or other search engine for your topic. Visit websites and read even more about the topic. By using various sources your article will be more comprehensive. Remember, you want your article to stand out from the crowd.
Take notes in whatever format pleases you. I suggest that you use mind-mapping because it does not restrict the free-flow of your thought process when you review it. Complete sentences or outlines are probably the worst way to format your notes.
Next you will put it all together by compiling what you already knew with the notes you have on innovative or new ideas. Be sure to keep the content flowing in a logical manner and write in a way to maintain the interest of the reader.
Readers want quality content when they read. Do not fill an article with fluff. You will damage your reputation as well as waste your writing efforts.
When you are giving instructions or advice always be as specific as possible. It is okay to keep the most valued information in your ebooks or on your website but do not try to publish fluff. Keep sentences and paragraphs short and to the point.
The article is for the reader and the resource box is for you. Cleverly keep the flow of the article going so that people will read the information and click through to your site.
By providing useful content in an easy to read format your article will be successful. You will gain targeted traffic that will result in increased sales. Additionally, you will be building your own credibility.

Articles Plus More Articles That Is What Bum Marketing Is All About
Bum marketing is widely used by Internet marketers as a sure money-maker. But if you are new to the concept it can seem mysterious.
I am sure you are familiar with the term bum marketing. You have heard about it and seen ebooks written about the process. But you may still be wondering what the fuss is all about. After all, you have written articles many times to promote a product.
But with bum marketing there are some differences. To begin you need to select a product that is already selling well. I suggest that you go to Clickbank and choose a product that is converting well. Look for one with a high gravity.
Next step is checking out the sales letter. Find a product that has a nice sales letter. You see, with bum marketing you do not need your own product nor do you need a website. You simply need a product that has a great potential to make a lot of sales.
Let me explain a little more. If you like the sales letter, if it grabs your attention and makes you want the product then it is working as it should. I suggest going for it.
You will need to set up a blog. This blog should include as a first post a description of the problem that this product solves. Additionally you should add how this particular product will improve the problem or negative situation. Your next post should be a review of your product.
I also suggest that you write a short report directly related to the problem and product. This should be offered as a free give-away. I recommend that you create a sign up form for this report. That means that you can collect names and email addresses from the people that get the free report. In your report you will promote your product.
This is like killing two birds with one stone because you can now send promotions to those subscribers at will. Of course you should not abuse that privilege. But you could keep in touch with your subscribers by perhaps sending them portions of your articles from time to time.
Now for the basic task of bum marketing; you must write as many articles as possible about your subject, the problem that your product solves. It is suggested that you begin with at least 30 articles. But do not stop there. The more articles you write the more sales you are likely to make.
There you have it, bum marketing in a nutshell. Get started today. Check out the special offer in the sidebar - you will learn all you need to know to get started making profits. The more you write the more you will make. This will not happen overnight but if you are consistent you will make money with this technique. Good luck!

Article Writing Tips; Consistency Will Pay Off
Image via Wikipedia
You see ads all over the Internet that make claims about sure ways to wealth. You succumb to the fluff and find that once again you have fallen for a scam. Do not feel alone, almost everyone tries at least one of those options before they realize that getting rich quick does not happen. The good news is that there are legitimate ways to make money on the Internet, and one of the best ways that I know of is article writing. In fact, with this technique it seems the only real requirement is that of consistency.
You may have heard me say that article marketing is the backbone of Internet promoting. I really believe that. Check out any major article directory and you will find articles on virtually every possible topic. The reason for that is article marketing works. It does not matter what the niche is this technique can provide results.
One complaint I hear about article marketing is that it is unpredictable. I have heard some complain that there is too much work involved and writing articles is not their cup of tea.
As for the unpredictability of article marketing let me say this. If you are promoting something worthwhile and you have an understanding of the proper formatting of an article and if you write enough articles you will see results. One problem I have seen with people new to article marketing is that they expect to see results after writing five or ten articles.
While it is possible to see results quickly in most cases you have to write lots of articles before you will see significant results. I suggest that you begin with a plan of writing about thirty articles on each topic. Then assess your results.
You may find that you have substantial results in one niche and none at all in another. This is when you make a business decision. You decide if it is worth your efforts to continue writing for the niche that is not productive or if you would be better off to focus your efforts on the other one. Another option is to drop the non-productive niche and add a totally new one.
With article marketing you really do have control over the results. By carefully evaluating your statistical information you can base your business decisions on sound data. This enables you to keep an efficient business plan updated and current.
After you have written a large number of articles for a successful campaign you may decide to cut back to only writing a few articles each week for that niche. This will keep you in the know and you will continue to build traffic and generate new sales.
With increased sales and profits you will be able to afford to outsource your article writing. That means that you can have even more articles working for you faster. And you can be busy creating your own products to sale while all this is happening!
You will then find that you can continue to add more and more niches as time goes on. You will eventually have hundreds of articles working for you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Each article is like its own little advertisement. You will continue to benefit from articles for months or even years to come.

Article Marketing Plus Building Online Credibility
Having an online based business is wonderful. It offers many advantages over the brick and mortar business but at the same time there are some disadvantages. One that comes to mind immediately is that of communicating with your audience; readers, visitors, and potential customers.
When you have an online business you are limited in the ways that you can impress your readers and customers with your personality and style. After all, they cannot see your facial expressions or the way you are standing or sitting as you are "talking" to them. Webmasters, unlike brick and mortar business owners must impress their viewers via other means of communication such as Article marketing.
You should be aware that studies have shown that only 7 percent of communication is through words. That means that 93 percent of effective communication is done through non-verbal cues. We need to keep in mind that people judge people. And this is often done due to the way someone looks or presents himself.
Consider the fact that you can walk into a physical store and be greeted by the staff as well as having the experience of touching the merchandise. This is a huge advantage over a website as far as the possible ways the store and store employees can communicate with you.
Okay, you probably get the message that because you can only communicate through words you will need to try a little harder to impress your readers. One way to do that is to always be aware of the fact that you are building your online credibility with each word that you convey.
Most Internet marketers find that Article marketing is the ideal way to combine marketing efforts with that of building a reputation to be proud of. By writing and submitting quality articles readers will come to know you as an expert in your field.
The key is to always provide useful information that the reader can utilize in some way. Adding a touch of your own personality is always a good thing but you need to add it in a way that fits in with your article topic.
You can do that by adding a little humor to your writings or even by telling the readers about your own journeys through life and your career. Everyone has experienced some problems along the way. By sharing those problems and how you resolved them your readers will learn while being entertained. At the same time you will be building a relationship with those readers because they will feel that they now know you as person.
For instance, if you are writing an article about 'how to build traffic' and you tell a little bit about your personal experiences in trying to build traffic. Your readers will feel a connection with you because they can relate to the same sort of experiences. This is important because you are only as good as the words that you put on paper. Now don't take offense at that statement.
I understand that your products may be the best available on the Internet but if people are turned off or simply not intrigued by your web content or your articles you are not likely to make many sales. You see, we all like to feel that we belong. If your articles and the content on your site makes the readers feel that they could never be like you, or perhaps even worse, that you could never be like them, then you have lost an opportunity to build any sort of rapport with them.
Just to recap the key points of this article:
• Always provide useful information in your articles as well as your web content
• Let your personality shine through

Blogging Combined With Affiliate Marketing
Because this blog is called "Article Marketing Plus" I include more than just tips about article marketing. Today I want to focus on blogging and the use of affiliate products.
If you have not tried blogging yet I should tell you that you should! It is easy and can be done for free - plus it provides an outlet for all your thoughts.
I suggest that you choose a niche to focus on - in the same manner that you would choose a topic for a website. Be sure that there are lots of searches for the key terms and be certain that there is a way to monetize the blog. After all, you do want to make some money with your efforts!
Find a product that is selling well. A good place to check is Clickbank. You can find digital products there on virtually any topic. I recommend that you find at least one product to start with but you will ultimately want to add more.
Next, you will set up your blog and begin making posts. Be sure that your posts are relevant to the topic of your blog. Let a part of you shine through. This is not the time to be formal - make your blog in a friendly and welcoming format.
The best way to handle the situation is to write posts that allow you to promote the products. People would rather buy something that you can vouch for. That is why your products should be carefully chosen. You only want to be associated with quality products and reputable companies.
You should include links to a page you have created about the product or directly to the product's homepage. A way to build your list while promoting affiliate sales is to give away a related report or ebook. To do that you will need to have an autoresponder account and then add a sign up form to your blog. You can see the one I have in my sidebar.
When you or someone signs up to receive the free report I have offered I can then send further information via email. Additionally, my free report reminds you of my products that I promote. The point is that I am building a list while making sales.
Keep in mind that you must always treat your readers and customers fairly and with the respect they deserve. Do not sell or share their sign up information. And do not bombard them with promotions. Provide them with quality information that will help them reach their goals.
You want to build their trust. This offers you a way to become friends with your readers and it is more likely that they will ultimately become your customers. The saying is that if you take care of your customers they will take care of you! I strive to always under promise and over deliver.

Articles; What To Write About
Here's the scenario, you are sitting at your computer and your mind goes blank. All you need to do is crank out a short article. The problem is you are not sure how to start. Do not worry, there are easy steps that will take you from no ideas to the completion of a great article.
After you make the decision to write articles for yourself your next step will be deciding what to write. The problem may be that you have no clue how to decide. In reality this is one of the easiest steps to article marketing.
Begin with a topic that directly relates to your niche and to your product or service. After all, you are writing articles to increase your traffic, build links, establish yourself as an authority, and to make more sales. The only way to do all that is if the article relates to your topic.
Another consideration is that of your knowledge base. In all likelihood you are already familiar with your niche and feel somewhat comfortable in writing about. But if you do not then you need to do some research first.
Your research will not be a difficult task if you use other articles as your starting point. Visit one of the more popular article directories on the Internet. Put in a search for articles on the topic that you will be writing about. You see, articles have already been written on virtually every topic.
All you have to do is read a few to gather the initial information needed for your article. But do not stop there. I also suggest that you do a search at your favorite search engine. Visit some of the websites listed and add to your notes for your article.
Continue with your research until you reach a point that you feel completely comfortable in writing your article. You will be ready to the point that you cannot wait to get your thoughts on paper.
Then as you write all you have to do is let your thoughts flow. If you get stuck take a quick look at your notes. Remember to write as if you are talking to someone.
Start with a great title and then add an introductory paragraph. The next few paragraphs will simply explain the concept you have introduced. You will discuss a problem and then present a solution. The solution will be something that can be achieved with your product or service.
The last paragraph will be a quick wrap up or summary of what you have discussed. This will take the reader full circle. Your summary will remind them of the purpose of the article, the problem and the solution. It sort of ties everything together.
Then you will go straight into your first sentence of your resource box. This will be a smooth transition from the article to the resource box. That keeps the flow going and the reader reading.
With a little planning you will find that article writing is not difficult. Determining what to write will be directly related to your product or service. Your product or service will be directly related to the needs and wants of your potential customers.

Article Marketing For Beginners And Intermediate Level Marketers
Article marketing can be used by almost anyone to promote anything. This method is proven to bring about results. Failing with this method is usually due to lack of writing enough articles. It really is a numbers game.
Having a business requires you to be involved with advertising and promotion. In essence you are a sales person, whether you do any face to face selling or not. Finding ways to advertise and promote your business is not difficult; a quick Google search will lead you to many options available. The problem is that many of those options are not only expensive but they do not come with guaranteed results. Article marketing does.
Whether you are a beginner or you have been involved in Internet Marketing for awhile, you have likely heard that Article marketing is considered the backbone of online promoting.
The reasons for that are simple; article marketing can be done by almost anyone, it is very cost-effective, in fact, it can be done entirely without any out of pocket expenses, and article marketing absolutely will provide results. This is a no brainer. Overlooking the value of article marketing is a huge mistake.
For beginners the process can be very simple. You decide what it is that you want to promote and you write an article on the topic. Then you submit it to directories and wait for the results.
Of course there is more to it than that. You really need to know what it is that you are writing about and you need to know how to format your article. Keywords are an important element also. Equally important is your resource box.
But do not let that overwhelm you. Learning how to write effective articles is not difficult once you understand the techniques. A major mistake made by beginners is expecting too much too soon. You may have heard that each article will generate about twenty dollars per month for you. Using that as a guide you can see that you need approximately 150 articles in circulation to bring in the income of $3000 per month.
I realize that number may seem overwhelming at first but believe me, the more you write the easier it will be to craft articles that get results. Just as with anything else, practice will improve your methods and techniques. You can begin with easy methods of acquiring basic keywords and move into more complicated techniques later. As time goes by you will gain experience and you will be able to determine which products are worthy of your articles. Do not promote items that you feel are of low quality; your reputation is always at stake.
As you move into the intermediate level of article marketing you will begin to learn better ways of formatting your articles. This will begin with your title choices. It is important that the title grabs attention and informs the reader of what to expect.
You will also learn to be precise in your resource box. The author box is your space to be used to get those click throughs. You need to choose the words wisely because you have limited space and this is your only opportunity to turn the reader into a site visitor, a subscriber, or a customer.
As you feel more and more confident with your writing you will find that your beginning articles do not measure up to the quality you now craft. This will make you feel proud. Additionally, by that time you will be seeing a profit from your articles and that will make you happy. Article marketing is an easy way to promote your site, your products, your services and yourself. You will see an increase in traffic, you will generate more sales from that targeted traffic and you will build your credibility. It really could not get any better than that!

Using Articles To Create Reports And Ebooks
Articles are very versatile. Not only can you see multiple benefits from their use but additionally you can use your article for various purposes and products.
Writing articles takes time and effort and if you are a slow typist they take even more time. Because you do put effort into composing articles you want to get the most from them. But it seems that many writers forget to stretch their articles as far as they can.
Let me begin by saying that articles can be re-written in order to get more bang for your effort. For example, if you find that one of your articles is doing well, as in it is making money for you then you should consider the fact that the information you shared in that article is wanted and needed.
Take advantage of that knowledge and create another similar article. Get all the mileage you can from every article you write.
After writing on a particular topic for a while you will find that you have a collection of articles that cover various aspects of the niche or sub-topic. Do not let those articles go to waste.
Instead, go through them and organize the articles into a logical fashion that would take a reader from the beginning to the end of the information. Then use that compilation to create a report or an ebook.
You will need to start by classifying your articles into categories. Then consider what a table of contents might look like for a book about your topic. This will guide you as to the ordering of the articles.
Because the information is all yours you are already familiar with it. You can now use bits and pieces from the articles, combining several to create one chapter. You will probably find that it is necessary to add a few new paragraphs along the way.
Then you will need to check the flow of the content. If all is well then you only need to add the title page, table of contents, about the author, and other house-keeping information. The result is a quality ebook. Your very own product that you can sell for profit!
Having your own product means that you now have the potential of making even more money! And the product creation was really an easy process because the bulk of the work was done before you started working on your ebook or report.
This is a great way to get more bang for your writing efforts. Always keep your articles organized so that you can find and use them when you want to. After a period of time you will have a collection or series of ebooks to display on your website. Your business will continue to evolve and grow.
Write more articles and create more reports and ebooks. Your reports can be used as giveaways to entice your article readers to click through to your site. After they sign up for the free article you can then promote your ebook to them. Saweet!

Key Steps To Creating A Great Article
Article marketing is a cost effective way to create traffic and generate sales. But it is essential that you learn to write quality articles if you are to succeed using this technique.
Many Internet marketers seem to fear writing. But because they know that Article marketing works very well to promote traffic and to increase sales they want to learn how to write articles for themselves.
Although almost anyone can write articles it takes some planning and know-how to produce articles that get the desired responses. To begin, the writer needs to know what he or she is talking about. The whole concept of article reading is to find out some desired or needed information.
Of course you could write whatever you wanted but your article is not likely to get published by many people and few people will read it. All in all your efforts and time would have been wasted.
Don't forget to sign up for your free report on how to write articles - you will information in the sidebar.
So to begin you need to have accurate and reliable information to share. This does not mean that you have to be an expert in the subject, far from it. You can simply do a little research yourself to gather some key points to talk about.
You should keep in mind that you are always striving to build and maintain credibility with your readers. Therefore the time you spend learning about a topic is not wasted time but rather it is essential to your success.
Be sure that you come up with a great title. By great I mean it should be intriguing, it should grab the attention of your readers. You also need to include your keywords in the title. You should pepper your keywords throughout the article where they fit in naturally.
Your first paragraph should tell the reader what you are going to tell them. In other words it is an introduction to the article. Be sure that your content flows from one sentence to the next and from one paragraph to the next.
Each paragraph should discuss one key point. Limit your paragraphs to only a few sentences. It is advisable to avoid jargon or language that the typical person would not understand.
Your last paragraph should be a summary of the article. Just briefly recap what you have gone over in the article. Always keep in mind that your goal is to keep the reader reading all the way through so they will read your resource box and click through to the link you have provided.
Your resource box is like an ad for whatever it is that you are promoting. The article is for the reader but the resource box is for you. Let the first sentence continue the flow of the article. This will keep the reader reading.
Those simple steps will help you create a quality article that will work for you. The process will get easier the more you write.

Article Marketing Plus Affiliate Marketing
There is no better way to promote your affiliate products than through the use of article marketing. Learn how to use this technique effectively and your sales will dramatically increase.
The basic idea behind Article marketing is the use of articles as a means of promotion. This method can be used by almost anyone regardless of what it is that they are promoting.
The key is to write an article that discusses the topic your product or service falls under. It is ideal if the article talks about a problem related to the topic being discussed and then leads to a resolution, which of course, is your product! The resource box will tell the readers where they can find this wonderful key to resolving their problems.
Internet marketers have successfully used articles to promote practically anything imaginable. The fact is that Articles marketing provides not only the advantage of increased traffic and sales but there are also less obvious benefits.
For one thing the writer is building credibility by writer the articles. He truly does become an expert in the subject matter via the research required to write a quality article. This establishes him as an authority in the area that he writes about.
Additionally, because the resource box will have a link to a website that website will gain backlinks. There really is a snowball effect then. That results in more traffic. It also means that the search engine will come to recognize the website. That leads to a higher ranking and the website will come up more often in search results. That in turn results in even more traffic. And we all know that more traffic means more sales!
Article marketing can be used to promote affiliate products as well as your own. Simply follow the same procedure that you would if the product was your own. Be careful about using affiliate links though. Some article directories frown on that so it may be best if you create a blog or a landing page of your own for the product.
That also provides you an opportunity to collect names and email addresses for your own list building efforts. I suggest that you write a short report or ebook to be used as a giveaway. Then in your resource box you can offer that. That should get your readers to click through to your site.
There along with information about the actual product you can have a webform that they can complete to get your free report. The report gives you an opportunity to build a relationship with the subscriber and to promote to him in the future.
Article marketing really is the backbone of Internet marketing. If you are not using it as part of your marketing campaign efforts then you are missing out on easy traffic and sales.

7 Easy Steps To Article Marketing Success
Article marketing is a sure way to increase traffic and sales. You will establish yourself as an authority and an expert while building your credibility. You will find that your profits soar and your name becomes better known.
Article marketing has been called the backbone of Internet marketing. There are various reasons for that but the main one is that this form of promotion is so widely used. Article marketing is a cost-effective way to promote your website, products, services, and yourself. As long as a person continues using articles as a way to promote they will achieve some measure of success. But to ensure the ultimate success it is important that key steps are taken.
1) Know what you are writing about
2) Have a website or blog
3) Ensure that your website is set up correctly
4) Promote quality products
5) Align yourself with others
6) Stay current
7) Visit forums related to the craft
When you begin writing your article you should have a clear focus on what the article will be about. Research should already be completed if needed and you should be over-flowing with information to share. By having a knowledge base to work from your writing efforts will be easier and go faster. The end result will be an informative article that others can benefit from.
Although article marketing is often used to sell affiliate products I still suggest that you set up a website of your own. A blog works fine. This gives you a place to send people from your resource box. Because you are sending them to your own space you have control over that area. You can add an opt-in box so that you can build a list of your own. You can also add Google adsense code and banners for other products.
These options mean that you have multiple ways of making money with the visit you receive. By offering a free ebook or report you can get subscribers of your own. This enables you the opportunity to email those people in the future with other offers. Some people may need to receive several emails that offer a product before they actually make a purchase. You now have the opportunity to provide those emails.
Insure that what you promote is of high quality. It is important to remember that you are being judged for everything that you write. That includes your promotions. You are always working at building your credibility. That is why you should only attach your name to worthy products.
Do not try to go it alone. Learn from others and get assistance from others. You can do this by finding a mentor or simply following the advice of someone that you respect. There is no need to re-invent the wheel. Join forums where you can associate with others doing the same things. This will also help you to keep current on any new trends or methods that you might want to try.

How To Use Article Marketing To Sell To Others
As an Internet marketer you are forced to find ways to promote whatever it is that makes you money. Your main role is that of a marketer. Article marketing can prove to provide effective promotion that results in sales.
As a business person you are certainly aware of the importance of making sales in order to make money. Whether your product is a service, a physical product, or a downloadable ebook does not matter, ultimately you need sales if you are to generate an income. Article marketing is a tried, tested, and proven way of promotion that leads to many benefits, including that of increased sales.
One of the reasons that article marketing is so effective is that by virtue of the fact that you write the articles you essentially become an expert and an authority in your subject matter. The more articles that you submit the more recognition you will gain as being an authority.
Although the goal of the article itself is not actually to make a sale, it is to inform and create an interest in your product. It is important that you keep in mind how and why the reader found your article in the first place.
In almost every case it will be because he or she was seeking information, not a sales pitch. You will provide your sales pitch in your resource box and on your site.
So when you write the article you should discuss information that will be interesting and informative while subtly building an interest for what your product can do for the reader. You must always keep in mind that the article is a tool for you but a resource for your reader.
This means that a carefully crafted article will not only inform the reader, giving him or her some useful information, but it will also let the reader know that you know what you are talking about. This will build your credibility. If the article is full of fluff that can be found on any website or in any other article available then it will not stand out. Additionally, the reader is not likely to be impressed with what he or she reads and even less likely to regard you as an authority.
Your resource box should continue the flow of the article. If you have done a good job writing the article then by the time reader gets to the resource there is already an interest for what you are offering. This is the time that you let the readers know that you have the solution to their problems or a way to make their life better.
You see, your article informs but it also builds a desire for something. That something may be a product or service that the reader had no idea even existed. Your resource box will now guide them to that needed product.
Through article marketing you will see increased traffic, traffic that is targeted. This means that your visitors will be coming to your site with a real purpose in mind. They already know what you have to offer and they want more information or perhaps they will already have their credit card in hand. And the good news is that your articles will be working for you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for years to come!

How You Can Write An Article In Five Fast And Simple Steps
Internet marketers know that Article marketing can provide a low-cost way to market their business, but some hold back because they are unsure how to begin the process. Writing quality articles is step one. Learning to compose an article is not difficult but there are simple steps that should be followed.
Article marketing is probably the most widely used form of promotion on the Internet. The reasons are many, including the fact that it can be done for very little or no cost at all. And the results can be amazing; it is possible to see profits from an article years after it has been written.
That is a huge plus because when compared to most other forms of promotion article marketing outshines them in regard to the long-term benefits that can be achieved. Articles can in effect provide a passive income to the Internet marketer.
This knowledge has brought about a resurgence in article marketing popularity. In reality, if you are not using article marketing to promote your services, your products, your website and yourself you are essentially leaving money on the table, and that is money that should be in your bank account.
It really is easy to get started using article marketing. The first thing you must do is learn to write articles, unless of course, you can afford to outsource that task. But for most of us writing the articles ourselves seems to be the quickest and most doable plan of action.
Writing articles is not difficult but there are certain key components that must be remembered. Please look over the list below:
1) Sufficient research
2) Catchy title
3) Great opening paragraph
4) Quality content
5) Effective resource box
If you are writing about a topic that you already know a lot about then little or no research will be needed. But if you are only slightly familiar with the subject matter then research will be the backbone of your article. The secret is to do complete research before you begin writing.
Find a system that works for you. Then research until you are ready to explode with information. This means that you simply cannot wait to put your thoughts and ideas into article format.
Find a title that uses your keywords. Keywords are the terms that people would use in a search in order to find your subject matter. A good tip is to go into a well known article directory and see which article titles seem to be working well for others. It is not necessary to re-invent the wheel. Find a title that is working for an article and tweak it to make it relevant to your topic; but remember, you should not use a title straight from another article.
Your first paragraph should be an opening to the rest of the article. Use your keywords in this paragraph where they fit in. This paragraph will entice the reader to read the rest of the article. It basically tells the reader what the article is about.
Your content should be informative and entertaining. You must keep the attention of your readers. Again, use your keywords where they fit. Keep in mind that you want to build up a need or want for what you are offering in your resource box. It is a good idea to end with a summary of what you have told the readers in your article.
The final step is your resource box. I suggest that your first sentence in the box reads like a continuation of the article. If you can provide a special offer for the readers you are more likely to get click-throughs to your desired site. Many people offer a free report or ecourse. Some offer a discount on a product or service.
Use your imagination to entice your readers and remember that the goal of the article is to get the readers to click on your link. Through the use of article marketing you will see increased traffic that will result in increased sales. You will also be establishing yourself as an authority in your field.

Article Marketing; Your Key To Success, Keep On Writing!
Few would argue that article marketing is a useful way of promotion. It is cost effective and generates traffic. But some people begin article marketing only to give up too quickly. The results will come as long as you are consistent and remember your goals.
Few methods of promotion can compare to that of article marketing. Check out any of the writers that have hundreds of articles to their name. You can be sure that they are enjoying a nice income from their efforts.
Article marketing provides targeted traffic. Because the readers of your articles already have a purpose for visiting your site they will linger longer than the casual surfer. And because they have already learned something from your article you can be sure that they are at your website looking for more of what you have to offer.
That means that you will see an increase in sales because of the increase in traffic that is visiting with a purpose. Additionally you will be building your credibility because the article readers will see that you know your stuff. You also gain recognition from your peers and competitors as an expert in your field.
Becoming known as an authority in a particular niche will help you gain visibility in other matters as well. You are likely to be offered JV deals because of your name recognition.
Another wonderful aspect of this method of traffic generation and promotion is that it can be done for a very low-cost or even for free. The results are practically guaranteed as long as you remember a couple of things.
First, keep in mind the purpose of your articles. Your goal is to generate traffic while informing your reader. You see, you will get more articles read and more click-throughs if you actually write useful information.
If you are interested in learning how to write articles you may want to sign up for my free report - you can find the form in the sidebar. For detailed information about all aspects of article marketing please click here.
Many people write five articles or less and immediately expect to see results. When they do not they decide that article marketing does not work or that they are not capable of writing effective articles.
This is far from being reality. In truth you may need to write thirty or more articles before reasonable results are noticed. The point is that the success of article marketing builds over time. The more articles you write the more momentum you build.
I understand that writing is not for everyone - that's why people like me offer writing services - if you would like more information about that please click here.
It is true that article marketing will not provide overnight success but that is true of most any method that claims it can provide overnight success. The more articles you write the more little advertisers you will have working for you, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
The more you write the more success you will see. With the increased traffic you will see more sales. Your established status as an expert will also result in more sales and greater recognition. Each piece of this puzzle enhances the other and a cycle develops. The good news is that this is your cycle of success!

Key Steps To Making Money Writing Articles For Others
Writing articles for others can be very profitable. It is a great way to supplement your online income while building your credibility and establishing a reputation for yourself.
Getting started making profits from your home can be difficult. Many people with a flair for writing find that writing articles for others is a great way to supplement their income while building their online presence. If you happen to have a knack for writing then you need to learn the key steps to making money writing articles for others.
Checking out other writers, their websites, their writing styles, and even their rates is a good start. If you have not developed a writing style that is effective then you can use some of those successful articles written by others as a guide.
When you are writing for other people it is important to know what they want from the article. It is true that some of your clients will be new to article marketing and they will not know a good article from a so-so article. But if you plan to be successful with this service then you really do need to learn the essential skills and even more.
The goal of an article is to inform and entertain. Readers are viewing the article for a reason and that is to learn about something. By including useful information the reader will be impressed and want to learn more by clicking the links in the resource box. Your job is to keep the reader entertained enough to read the complete article so he will reach the resource box.
Keep in mind that if an article is to be submitted to directories it cannot contain a real sales pitch. Instead you will need to find ways to indirectly promote the product or service that the article is about. You can do this in various ways. One way is to discuss a problem and then to talk about solutions, the solutions of course are found in the product you are promoting.
The sales pitch for the click through comes in the resource box but you must build the article in a way that leads the reader to that information. I have found that my clients appreciate a tip about how to best begin the resource box. It is important that it begins as a continuation of the article. The point is to keep the flow going so the reader will continue reading.
You may be wondering what to charge your clients. As I mentioned earlier you will need to check out the current rates being charged by others. But in order to establish a client base you will probably need to start out charging a low rate. I suggest a rate of about seven dollars per article and your articles should be 400 and 600 words. You can then increase your rates over time.
You will need to advertise somewhere in order to get those clients. And since you are writing these articles in order to make money you probably do not want to spend a lot to promote your services. I suggest placing ads in Internet marketing forums and using free classified ads.
When clients contact you about your writing services be sure to get details from them. Learn as much as possible about how the articles will be used and any keywords that you should use. Do not take on more than you can handle. You should be able to give your clients an estimate of how long the assignment will take.
I suggest that you require at least half of your payment up front. That ensures that your time will not be wasted. Learn all you can about article writing and article marketing. That will result in high quality work that you can charge optimum rates for.

Things That Experience Has Taught Me
I have been online for about two years now and over that period of time I have learned some things that work and found many that do not. It seems that the lessons we learn through the school of hard knocks are the ones that mean the most to us – I guess that is why most of us have to experience some disappointments first-hand before some basic messages really sink in. At least that was true for me.
I want to share some of the things that I have found to be essential for online success. Here is my list – I hope it helps someone!
1) Realize that you are the only one that can create your success.
Experts and authorities can share information with you through their products, or by coaching, or even in forum posts but if you do not put that information to work for you it is useless. Working on the Internet is on-the-job training. You can find guides to help you but you will learn more by taking action. Your skills will increase as you put the methods to work.
2) You have heard it said many times over – you have to have the right mindset if you are going to succeed.
Negativity brings about more negativity. Develop a positive attitude about what you are doing and what you will achieve. Accept the fact that people that are not involved with an online business are not likely to really understand what you are doing.
Don't let that affect what you are doing. Do what you have to do to stay motivated – that will probably include interacting with people that are positive. Being a member of a forum of like-minded people can have a tremendous impact on your business as well as your mindset.
3) Build your credibility one day at a time.
When you are new to Internet marketing or even new to any aspect of it, be honest about that fact. Don't try to convince people that you know more than you do – but be willing to share what you do know.
You are more respected when you admit that you want to learn about something than you are when you pretend you already have the facts. Your reputation is essential to your success. Being known for honesty and integrity will go a long way in building your credibility. Strive to under promise and over deliver as often as possible. Give in order to receive.
4) Don't expect overnight success.
It is true that some people reach great success very quickly – but those cases are rare. Most of us work for a long time before we begin seeing the success that we want. Your dedication and patience will bring about success but it will take time.
You will need to learn about specific techniques and master them. Most things build momentum over time and as your skills develop you can achieve the same or better results more quickly. But you cannot master everything at once.
Because I'm hungry right now I will compare this to food; you can start with a great recipe, purchase the ingredients, and prepare a meal yourself. The result would be a fantastic learning experience and a wonderful meal…..but it will take time. However, once you know the recipe and how to use it you can add that meal over and over again to your menu. Over time you can tweak the recipe to make it your own and you will find short-cuts to creating the meal.
Then you can find another recipe and add it. Eventually you will have lots of great meals that you can prepare.
Of course, instead of preparing a meal you can choose to go for a quick snack or fast food. There will be virtually no work involved and the time investment will be minimal. The end result will be that you will have something to eat but it will be less healthy and you will probably not enjoy it as much. Additionally, you will learn little if anything from the experience. It's all a matter of choice but in my mind good things are worth working for.
Being realistic about timeframes will be helpful in a lot of ways.
The point is that you should be prepared from the start to apply yourself in order to get the results that you want. Few of us set a goal of eating a bag of chips!
5) You have to have goals for yourself and a plan that will help you reach those goals.
Most people will say that their goal is to make lots of money – and that is a great goal. But it is important to be specific about your goals. You need to be able to break your goals down into exactly what it is that you want.
I have found that reverse engineering works extremely well when developing a plan for success. Decide what you determine to be a measurement of success and work backwards to find a way to get to that point.
Celebration of each milestone along the way helps to keep me motivated and focused. It is imperative that you protect yourself from information overload. Learn one technique at a time and master it to the point that you are comfortable with it and it is providing results. Then add another method or technique.
You will find that you are successful with some things and not so much with others. That is simply part of life. But the good news is that the only way you can truly fail at this is by quitting.
I hope this helps someone. There is not anything new in this information but it seems that some things just cannot be said enough. We sometimes read the same thing over and over and then finally one day something clicks. We make the connection with what we read and how it can be applied to our own life and business.

Articles Make Great Web Content And Much, Much More
As a business person and webmaster, if you like things that have multiple uses then I am sure you have found articles to be very valuable. The numerous ways they can be used continues to grow. One simply has to use a little imagination.
When you are working to establish yourself as an Internet marketer finding ways to promote your credibility is important. Some people do this by providing wonderful services and others create great products. But even with that you will need to have quality content on your website if you are to get noticed by the search engines. Articles can do that for you.
You may feel that articles are only good for submitting to directories but you are wrong. It is true that through article submission you can gain backlinks and build traffic but you must keep in mind that people on the Internet, the surfers, seekers and shoppers all have one thing in common; they are looking for something, and in most cases that something is information.
Few people jump on the Internet with the intent of making a purchase right away. Most people are there because they want to know about something. Perhaps you will get ranked in the search engines high enough to come up during a search, but imagine for a moment that the searcher lands on your site and sees little real information there.
Maybe all they see is a sales letter. Okay, I agree that sales letters are fine and necessary but if the particular product you are promoting in that sales letter does not meet the needs of the searcher he is likely to click away as fast as he landed there.
If you have some quality information on your landing page, a free article or white paper it is likely that if the searcher is interested in the topic he will read the information. And if he sees that the information is solid and useful he is likely to desire more of the same. He will in fact feel that if you give away great content the stuff you charge for must be awesome.
This means that you will be building a website with quality content that will help to establish the fact that you are a true expert in the field. This builds your credibility and your visitors will trust your information.
Do not forget to include an opt in form so that you can continue sending your subscribers great information. That will be easy to do because you will use articles. Simply break them up into small components and send a bit of information at a time. This will allow you to build a relationship with your subscribers and over time they will respect your advice. This includes advice on product and service purchases.
To entice the visitors to opt in you can use your articles to create a short report that provides some great information. But do not give everything away for free. Keep your best stuff for your actual products that you sell.
Remember, you can enjoy the benefits of articles even if you do not write a single word yourself - let me write for you! Check out my services by clicking on this link: Web Writing Services

How To Use Your Articles As Ads
When you decide to write articles you are beginning a tactic that will help you and your business in many ways. Not only can you submit your articles to directories but you can use them as ads.
How To Use Your Articles As Ads
Article marketing is gaining resurgence in popularity. It seems that every Internet Marketer is either writing articles or outsourcing the task. There is a reason for that; quite simply, article marketing works!
Article marketing can do several things for an Internet Marketer. First, an article that contains quality information will help to establish the writer as an authority in his field. He will naturally gain respect and credibility for writing an article that provides useful content and the more articles the more easily the credibility will come.
Articles will increase the traffic flow to the website, and very importantly, this will be targeted traffic. That means the traffic is more likely to convert. And making more sales is the ultimate goal.
Not only that but articles will provide backlinks to the website. This will help with search engine rankings. A better ranking also results in more traffic.
But one use of articles that is rarely mentioned is that of using them as ads. Your article is an excellent way to promote your business, your product or your service. That was kept in mind during the writing process so of course it will serve well as an ad.
If you are apprehensive about this concept just look through the newspaper or a quality magazine. Most likely you will find at least one or two articles that are being used as ads.
The beauty of this is that articles are accepted by people as being more informative and reliable than a simple ad. The fact that you have already written your article makes it even better. Less work and time involvement for you.
I suggest using US Free Ads. I would recommend having a premium account so that you can add an image to your ad. The premium service also provides renewal of your ads so you can automate this system and keep your ad running as long as you want.
Give it a try; I am sure you will find that your article will receive lots of views when it is used as an ad. And in most cases you will notice a high conversion rate.
With the many ways to use articles it is no wonder that Article marketing is popular. If you have not used this method to promote your business then you are leaving money on the table. Give it a try and you are sure to see your traffic and your sales increase!

How To Inform And Entertain With Your Articles
The purpose of writing articles is to get the reader interested in what you have to say and to lead him to the resource box. But it is essential that you find ways to keep the attention of the reader, if not your efforts will have been wasted.
Article marketing is one of the most widely used forms of promotion and marketing. And although this is really an easy technique to use it is possible to write tons of articles without having much success. The key reason for that is the writer forgets that he or she is writing for the reader.
Let me explain a little more. Books have been written on the subject of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). It is very important to please the search engines in order to get the ranking and positioning desired but when writing an article you should remember that your true audience is the reader and not the search engines.
You will need to use keywords because that is how your article will be categorized with the search engines. The key terms you use will help people find you when they are looking for information related to your topic.
But let us get back to your audience and what is necessary to keep them happy and reading. Obviously they sought out your article in search of information. They may want to explore a new topic that they are unfamiliar with or they may want specific information about a sub-category within a topic.
Whatever your article is about it should provide useful and accurate information. If you are writing about a subject that you are unsure of then it is your responsibility to do adequate research before you begin writing. Remember, you need to come across as an authority in your field, someone that knows what he is talking about.
Now it is true that facts and details can get boring and a bored reader is less likely to complete an article. It is important to note that your sales pitch is in the resource box and if the reader does not finish the article he is not likely to see it.
The point is that your article should not only be informative, it is should also be entertaining. I am not saying that you have to make your reader laugh out loud but you do have a responsibility to make the content interesting enough that your reader does not get bored.
This can be accomplished in various ways. You might consider adding a personal story that relates to the topic. You should allow your personality to shine through. Do not be afraid to make a joke or a statement about how you feel about something. As long as you keep things professional this insight into the real you will add interest to your article.
Be sure to address the reader as if you are talking to an individual and not a group of potential readers. This will make the reader feel that the article was meant for him or her, to address his needs and not those of everyone else.
Article formatting is key to getting your article read. Keep in mind that readers are going to be in a hurry. They want information but they want it now. If your article appears to be difficult to read many people will not bother with it. So use short sentences and paragraphs and break your content up using bullet points or lists when possible.
The key to getting your articles read is keeping in mind that you are writing for the reader and not yourself or the search engines. Put the reader, potential customer first, and then build in the features that are needed to create traffic and sales.
If all of this sounds too complicated or it is just too time consuming then consider outsourcing your writing needs. I just happen to know a writer! LOL Please consider my writing services for all of your writing needs. I write ebooks, reports, web content, ecourses, autoresponder series, and of course, articles. Is Article Marketing Worth The Effort?
I am a member of the Warrior Forum and I have to say that it is the best source of information I have ever found on the Internet. You could literally learn everything you need to know in order to start and build an online business - and best of all it's free!
But on to this post ---- today I read a thread at the forum that was questioning the usefulness of article marketing. The post was comparing article marketing to the use of PPC (pay per click).
I only have limited experience with PPC so I may not be the best person to discuss details related to that - but I can tell you that PPC can provide almost immediate results. The problem is that PPC can be very risky if you do not know what you are doing.
Article marketing on the other hand is a sure thing in most cases. You will almost always see some results from your article marketing efforts but it may take awhile before they are noticeable. You will build traffic and backlinks but it won't happen overnight.
On the positive side is the fact that article marketing can be done for little or no out of pocket expenses. That makes it a perfect marketing method for anyone that is working with a limited budget. But I will admit that writing articles can be time consuming and when you are trying to develop or run a business time is money. Therefore, outsourcing is sometimes a much wiser way to get involved with article marketing.
When comparing PPC and article marketing it is important to have a clear understanding of the type of results you can achieve with each and the efforts required to get them. That information combined with knowledge of your budget limitations will help you make wise decisions about the methods.
For me - I am learning about PPC as I use article marketing regularly. I plan to incorporate the use of PPC more substantially when I feel more comfortable with it.
If you are interested in using article marketing but would like to outsource the writing please consider using my services. My specialties are reports and ebooks but I also write articles.

How A Free Report Can Make You Money
I am sure you have heard people talking about the wonders of using a free report to increase their income. Now if you are like me - the first time I heard that I wondered how anything that you give away can result in money. lol
I can say that it didn't take me long to find out how a free report or ebook can result in more money. In fact, I have lots of free ebooks and reports that I offer as incentives for signing up as a subscriber to my lists.
If you haven't figured it yet I will explain: When someone opts in to my list so they can get the free report they will immediately receive that benefit. The free report should provide useful information to the reader. And most of my free reports have affiliate links in them. The ones that don't have affiliate links have a back page dedicated to the promotion of one of my products. Some of the free reports or ebooks will have both, affiliate links and promotions of my products.
Those links and promotions sometimes result in sales. But that is not the end of the possibilities - because the reader opted into my list I now have the opportunity to send emails to him. Although I do not want to only send promotions, I can send useful information along with a promo for a product of my choosing.
If I treat my subscribers respectfully - that is, I do not use every opportunity to send them a sales pitch, but instead, I share useful information and resources, I will gain a sense of trust. They will then be more likely to make purchases based on my recommendations.
It really is a win-win situation and it all starts with a free report or ebook. If you need an ebook or report to be used as a give away or even as a product to sell please check out my writing services.
I research every topic before I begin writing and my work is high quality. You will find that my rates are competitive and I work hard to provide products that are pleasing to my clients. My motto is: 'Under promise and over deliver' - and I stand by that!

Six Keys To Writing A Good Article
If you want to promote your product or service using a tried, tested and proven technique then you need to give article marketing a try. Do not be afraid to write articles; almost anyone can craft articles that get the desired results. Learning the key elements needed will get you started.
Article marketing is a proven technique that requires little or no out of pocket expenses. Article writing is a simple skill that can be developed by almost anyone. With that in mind, article marketing is a great way to promote your business, service, product, website, or even you. Almost anyone can easily learn to write articles and with practice the writing process will improve and go faster.
Sometimes people fear that they cannot write a good article worthy of submitting to a directory. First of all you need to remember that these are articles not literature pieces that you are expecting to win some sort of prize. Your point of writing the articles is simply to convey some information in a way that keeps the reader reading.
You do need the reader to read all the way through to the resource box so it is important that your article flows. For a complete newcomer to article writing the task can seem daunting. But this article will break the work down into easy components. Please see the list below.
1) Prepare for writing by knowing what you will write
2) Choose a catchy title that uses your key terms
3) Begin the article with an introduction paragraph
4) Provide useful information; begin with a problem and end with a solution
5) End the article with a summary
6) Craft a great resource box
Your preparation might include research and note taking or it may only consist of a solid idea for the article. If you are not doing research it is assumed that you are very familiar with the topic.
Your article title should be attention grabbing. Consider whether the title would catch your eye if you were interested in the topic. You should include your key terms in the title and it should give the readers an idea of what the article will be about.
Your first paragraph should introduce the reader to what your article is about. Basically you are telling them what you will be telling them.
The next two to five paragraphs are the real meat of the article. This is where you will provide useful information. Your article cannot full of fluff or people will not read them. Give the reader some helpful advice. Make them glad that they found your article and leave them with a sense that you know your stuff. It is wise to discuss the topic beginning with some sort of problem and lead up to a solution. The solution should be whatever it is that you are promoting.
Your last paragraph should be a simple summary of sorts. Here you will conclude and wrap up what you have said. This gives the article a closure.
Of course the real reason behind your article marketing efforts is getting more traffic and sales. So you will use your resource box to work its magic for you. You will need to include keywords and keep the flow of the article going. The first line in the resource box should read as if it is a continuation of the article itself.
Article marketing is really a great way to promote. It can be used for any niche and if you are consistent in your efforts you are sure to see real results. Not only will you get more traffic and sales, but you will also gain backlinks, and establish yourself as an authority in the topic. Your credibility will soar. The effects will snowball and you will soon see the success that you have worked so hard for.

Making Article Marketing Work For You
Learning to write articles is a challenge for some Internet marketers but once they begin using article marketing they never stop. The reason for that is simple; article marketing is a proven technique that is very effective. In fact, this is one method that can be done for little or no out-of-pocket expenses and you will see results.
Article marketing is a relatively easy technique that will bring you more targeted traffic, increased sales and help to establish you as an authority will build your credibility. You get all of those benefits just by writing and submitting articles.
Although the process is simple there are some key elements to keep in mind. First of all you will want to write articles for a purpose. Determine ahead of time if you simply want backlinks, you want to educate your readers, or if your goal is to get traffic that converts into sales, or if you simply want to increase your page rank.
You can achieve all of the above with article marketing but if you have a plan as you begin writing you can gear all of your efforts toward reaching your goals. For example, if you are planning to use article marketing to increase your sales you will definitely want your readers to read all the way through your article and click on the links in your resource box.
If your article is too long or boring the readers may stop reading long before they reach the resource box. If the article is short and does not provide useful information they may again stop reading before they get to the resource box.
Before you begin writing you need to have a topic in mind. Additionally you should have a knowledge base on the topic. If you do not then you will need to do some research.
Don't forget about keywords. You will want to use keywords that will be used in a search that will pull up your article. Add the keywords to your title, the first paragraph, the last paragraph, and sprinkled throughout wherever they fit naturally.
The first paragraph should be an introduction to what you are going to tell your readers about. Then you will present a problem and a solution. The solution will of course be the product that you are promoting.
Your last paragraph is a summary or conclusion. Here you will want to wrap things up and sort of remind the reader what you have already told them. This is done in a very concise manner and it pulls everything together.
Next you will add your resource box. Do not use this precious space to tell a lot about yourself. Your readers are there because of the information in your article. Keep that flow going.
The first sentence in the resource box should read as if it is a continuation of the article itself. Always provide a free offer or a discount of some sort to entice click throughs to your website. Once there you can collect email addresses and names in trade for the free offer. This is how you will build your list.
You will then be able to send those people offers for this and other products. Your list will continue to grow as long as your article is working for you. Article marketing is a great way to generate an online income. Your articles are like small ads that work for you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. My advice is to write as many as possible.

Building Your Credibility
Any business owner needs to have a good reputation if he or she is to achieve the success they desire. This is true in the offline world as well as the online world. But when your business is Internet-based you are somewhat limited in how you can build that reputation. After all, customers will not be walking through the entrance of your home providing you the opportunity to make them feel welcome and charm them with your personality.
Of course if you are well-known then you can simply attach your name to a website or product it has instant credibility. But what about the many newcomers to the Internet....how can you build a great reputation when you are just starting out?
First of all it is important to be honest in your marketing. I see countless individuals providing how to books and products related to topics that they know nothing about. That is a great way to get off to a bad start. You would get more respect and attention if you would set up a blog stating that you are new and looking to find a way to generate an online income. People would see you as a beginner but they would respect the honesty and integrity of your approach.
You would have people following your blog just to see how you progress. As time elapses you will learn what does and what does not work and viola - you have great information for creating your own product! You already have a following so you are likely to see some success with that.
Credibility can also be built by virtue of your knowledge. People love finding someone that is informative - the key is you should be generous with that information. Share and give - it will come back to you in some amazing ways! Your credibility will grow and you will profit!

What To Write About???
I hear lots of people say that when they get ready to write an article they simply stare at a blank and their mind goes blank. If that sounds like you then you need to know that you are not alone.
There are ways to avoid that dead zone - and the best way belongs long before decide to write. First of all writing is a craft that requires some creativity. Therefore you need to create a space that brings out the creative side of your mind and personality.
Most people find that having a particular area set aside for their writing is ideal - this is usually an office......but don't get me wrong, if you have a laptop you may very well find that working by the pool or next to the ocean brings out the creativity in you more than any office space ever could!
But let's face it, most of us will be writing in our office space most of the time. So what can you do to make it a space that inspires you? Start by selecting a space that is inviting and has good lighting. Add some personal elements of your own. Things that you like. What about fresh flowers or a plant? I like to burn candles and incense while I work. I also enjoy the sound of water flowing so I have a tabletop fountain in my office.
A comfortable chair is a requirement. If you are not comfortable it is hard to focus on the task at hand. If you enjoy music why not listen as you work? And it is helpful if you can keep some snacks and drinks handy.
So now all you need is a topic to write about and some ideas. That is easy. Just do a little research on your topic and jot down any ideas or phrases that jump out at you. After you are sure you have about 3 or 4 times the information you need you will be ready to begin composing your article.
The rest, as they say, is easy! Simply write as if you are talking to someone. Your article will be great or at least good enough - after all, you are not trying to compose an article that will win prizes!
The more you write the easier this will become....soon you will be able to write two articles per hour, then three per hour! Your skills will also improve. So get started creating that inspirational office space and write some articles!

My Story
Hello,
If you have been visiting here regularly you probably feel like you know me. But for anyone new here I thought I would share my personal story.
First of all - I am NOT a guru of any sort. I have had some success online but not even close to what I want to achieve - that will happen in 2009! :)
My background is in nursing. I was a psychiatric nurse and then I moved into the administrative role of hospital Nurse Educator. After about eight years I switched over to the role of Organizational Development Consultant. That job required lots of research and advanced education which led me to discover the possibilities of an online business.
I started out promoting Coastal Vacations but I never saw any real profit with that venture. The work was work to me and I really did not enjoy it. However, I did like creating articles and promotions for the business. And why wouldn't I, my previous work experience has required lots of writing of reports and training material as well as other hospital documents. I had always loved to write so it was a perfect fit for me.
I soon realized that not everyone shares this love for research and writing and I saw that as a business opportunity in itself. I set up my writing services and began making offers at the Warrior Forum and posting classified ads. I soon had enough clients to keep me busy.
But I knew that if people were willing to pay me to write for them that I should be doing something on my own with them - perhaps I was spending too much time writing for others. I learned as much as I could about Article Marketing and began using that knowledge to promote my own websites.
You see, I have an Internet Marketing website that I created as a resource for others trying to find their way on the Internet. There I offer lots of free downloads and I promote products that I have found to be useful. You can visit that site at: www.InternetDivaDeb.com
It didn't take long for me to realize why people were willing to pay me to write for them. Article marketing has been my primary form of promotion for everything that I do. In addition to being knowledgeable about article marketing I am a relationship expert. Article marketing has helped me establish my credibility in that niche.
I am building WordPress blogs and plan to develop my online real estate empire. I purchased a generic short domain name and I am developing the blogs on sub-domains. I just started those a few days ago. Just like this blog, they are fun because they relate to topics that I am either involved in or have an interest in. This does not feel like work at all.
Okay - that's me and my online business in a nutshell. Care to share your story? Maybe we can help each other find the real success we are striving for.....

Article Marketing - How To Start?
I received an email last week from a friend that was wondering how to get started with article marketing. She has a new blog related to the skin care industry.
Although it seems obvious to me how to begin article marketing I realize that for someone new to this it is not so clear. Keep in mind that she has already created her blog (it's a Wordpress blog). That means she has done some keyword research and is prepared to write her posts. This is what I sent her:
However, I told her that if she wanted to make some fast cash she could write articles for others. As the emails continued I realized that she needed more details than I could provide in an email. I figured that other people probably do too.
So I decided to create a report to guide them through the process of getting started with article marketing. The report is only 11 pages long. It's concise but full of useful content. I also wrote a very short report that covers how to get started writing for others.
If these reports sound like something that you would be interested in you can get a copy for $9.

Don't forget to sign up for my free report that covers how to write articles.

Article Writing; How Would Oprah Do It?
Article marketing is used extensively in the online world. One of the reasons is that it is cost effective but more than that it is a tried and proven method of generating traffic. Most of us use the same or similar techniques but how would someone like Oprah do it?
Article writing is a great way to promote your website, product or service. It can be done very inexpensively or even without any out of pocket expenses. Almost anyone can find success through article marketing. With that in mind I was thinking about how various Internet marketers use the technique to build their businesses. Next I wondered how Oprah would handle the task if she was going to write articles for promotional purposes.
I believe Oprah would follow in the path of the many successful Internet marketers. I think that she would definitely see the worth in article marketing and she would learn about some of the little tips and tricks that result in higher profits.
Obviously Oprah would have a wide variety of topics to write about. That is because her show discusses so many different subjects. This could be equated to an Internet marketer in the niche of golf. This sport offers a wide variety of topics that can be written about, all with a resource box leading back to a central website. There various items can be promoted.
It is my thought that Oprah would enjoy writing about the various topics and visitors to her show. I think she could create interesting articles that would lead us right into the reading of her resource box. The rest would be history. We would click on her links and become immediate Oprah fans!
You see, the wonderful thing about article writing and marketing is that it can be used for anything and everything. You can promote a person, a television show, a product, or a service.
In the process of gaining recognition for writing and having knowledge of a subject you effectively establish yourself as an expert or authority in the field. This builds your credibility which results in people respecting and trusting your advice and suggestions. That is a great thing when you are promoting products!
At the same time you are building backlinks to your site and generating targeted traffic. Because the people visiting your site have already read the article and the resource box they have a real good idea of what to expect at your site. That is targeted traffic. And we all know that targeted traffic results in more sales.
Okay, obviously Oprah does not need the advantages she could receive from article marketing, but if she decided to use it, I believe she would do the same things that the rest of us do. Of course, she would probably outsource the work! Hey Oprah, I would be happy to write for you!!!

Articles And Blogging
Most people that write articles are always looking for creative ways to use them. One way that I have found useful is to post the articles on my blogs. I am involved in several niches and I write articles for each one. After a period of time I go back into my files of articles that have been submitted and I post them on blogs.
Sometimes I make changes to them and sometimes I don't. The resource box is not necessary because my blogs will have all the pertinent information available for my readers.
If you don't have a file of old articles setting on your desktop you can still use this method. Just use some PLR articles - make a few changes and viola! Instant blog posts.
Because blog posts do not need to be very long you will find that many of your articles can be broken down into series. The same is true with reports or ebooks. Be creative and get the most from your articles!!!

How To Get Started With Bum Marketing
Trends come and go but some things are here to stay; things like Internet marketing and the need for promotion. But getting the marketing concept down is not always easy, that is why simple is sometimes better!
Bum marketing is a term that describes a particular use of article marketing. In order to succeed with bum marketing you will need to develop your writing skills. But do not be alarmed if writing is not your forte, fortunately this technique can be learned.
Let me begin with a basic definition of what bum marketing is and how to do it. The essential part of this is that it can be done without any out of pocket expenses and it is really simple to do. That is where it got the name bum marketing; the thought is that any bum can do it.
That is reassuring because many of us in the Internet marketing realm feel somewhat intimidated by the various methods used by the so called experts or authorities. We feel much better when we can follow a simple but effective plan.
I happen to be one of those people that prefer having things laid out in front of me in an organized, step by step format. That is exactly what you get when using the bum marketing method.
To begin you will need to select a product that you want to promote. You can go to Clickbank or any other place that offers affiliate products. I recommend Clickbank only because it is easy to see which products are doing well and that makes your selection process much easier.
You can choose a product based on its popularity or on its gravity. Basically, the higher the gravity the easier it should be to profit with a product. But even with those criteria it is important to choose a product that you either know something about or would not mind learning about, the reason will become clear in a moment.
After choosing your product you should create a blog with the name of the blog being based on the subject or product itself. Then you will want to create an article that discusses the many benefits of the product, I suggest doing this without actually naming the product until the end of the article. Simply write about the benefits that a quality product in this category would have. Then you can add that you have found such a product in xxxx brand.
Your next post could be a review of your product. In this review you will want to discuss all the selling points and talk about how this particular product is wonderful and that it is better than others.
Here comes the hard part, you will need to write a lot of articles about your product, and when I say a lot I am suggesting that you write no less than thirty. You will of course need to create a resource box that will leave your readers wanting to know more, and you will tell them that they can get more information at your blog.
If you can create a free report or other enticement to offer your readers you will get more traffic to your blog. But regardless, you will use the articles to submit to directories. If after submitting thirty articles you do not see a profit then you should stop writing regularly for that product and move on to another.
I actually suggest that you have a minimum of three products to write about using the bum marketing technique. This gives you the advantage of not putting all your eggs in one basket.
The key to bum marketing is quantity. This method will not make you rich overnight but it will generate an income for you. Do not get discouraged if it takes awhile to see sales, believe me, they will come.
Continue this technique and you can build an entire business around it. The only thing you need to do is learn about writing effective articles and resource boxes. This is definitely an easy way to see some online success.

Resource Boxes - Tips
Most of us write articles for the purpose of gaining traffic in order to make sales. But if our readers don't make it through the article to the resource box there is little chance of that happening. It is very important that we keep them reading. That means we need to offer useful content and present it in an easy to read format.
The article is constructed for the reader but the resource box is for the web owner. This is where you get to make your pitch - you can display your links with an enticement to get the reader to click through.
Ideally your resource box will read as if it is part of the article itself. In other words, you should continue the flow of the article. Beginning your resource box with information about you is not advised. If you did a good job with the article then believe me, the reader is much more interested in the product or service that you have to offer than he is learning about you.
See one of my resource boxes below as an example of one that I use when writing about weight loss. This particular resource box is one I use for the promotion of 'Fat Loss 4 Idiots" - it is important that your resource box directly relates to the topic of your article. ---- Sample below:
"For a free report on metabolism and information about how you can lose 9 lb every 11 days visit: http://fatlossquick.blogspot.com/
Also visit: http://www.EatRightLOSEWEIGHTFeelGreat.com
Debbie Allen is an Internet marketer & writer with a background in nursing."
Another idea is to have a long article that you can break up into two articles. Submit 'part one' to the directories and put 'part two' on your website or blog. Then in the resource box you direct the readers to the conclusion of the article.
To ensure that your readers will read all the way through to your resource box you can write articles that are entitled, "X number of tips, etc. to do whatever"..... then put the last tip in your resource box.
Be sure to include your key terms in the resource box. Make the information there interesting in someway.
Article marketing can provide targeted traffic but if you want more click throughs you will need to ensure that your resource box is working. Try various styles and use information that is specific to what you are offering. If you can provide a free report or ebook on the topic you are more likely to get clicks. That will also mean that you can build a list so you can continue marketing to those people - and they happen to have an interest in what you have to offer!

The Secret Of Using Articles To Build Online Credibility
Articles have been used for selling and presenting information, but perhaps a far more important use of articles is that of building credibility. Regardless of the niche you are in if you have a business much of your success will be determined by your credibility. The bottom line is that if people do not have a reason to respect and trust you they probably will not.
Quite simply, people have learned that there are a lot of scammers and pretenders on the Internet. These are bad guys trying to persuade us that they are good guys when in fact they simply want to take our money. Therefore, people in general have become much more cautious over the years. After all, the Internet was not dubbed the Wild, Wild, Web for nothing!
So the task of a website owner or Internet marketer is finding ways to create a sense of trust and respect for his or herself. This will actually require an arsenal of techniques, all combined and aimed at the same outcome.
To begin, people using the Internet are looking for something. Some are ready to make a purchase but most are seeking information. That fact alone makes it obvious that a successful website should offer reliable information.
This can be done by including quality content. Many webmasters create their own web content and many others pay for that service to be completed by freelance writers. Some even use articles from article directories for content. Regardless of how or where you acquire the information the important thing is that you verify that it is accurate.
Your website visitors are wanting or needing something and that something is usually reliable information that they can trust. If you are able to provide that they will come to respect you and trust your recommendations. This puts you in a much better position when you decide to suggest that a particular product or service will be helpful to them.
By writing articles you will gain the recognition as an authority in your niche. Even if you do not know a lot about the subject matter you will be learning as you write. And because you know more than the average person you are in fact an authority.
Your newsletters should also contain useful information. One way to do this is to include all or part of one of your articles. Your subscribers will then learn that you really do know a lot about the topic. And if you only include a portion of your article in the newsletter you can add a link to the article itself in order to generate traffic to a particular webpage or site.
Do not forget to let at least a little of the real you and your personality shine through in your articles. This lets your readers feel a sense of bonding with you. And if you can share some personal experiences relevant to the topic they will gain a sense that you are in fact just like them. They will realize that you have your share of struggles as well as successes.
Always take care to be compassionate and caring about your subscribers and visitors. Additionally, insure that your information is true and accurate. And just as with the rules of article marketing goes, you need to inform before you sell.

Here’s A Quick Way To Build Backlinks – Use Article Marketing!
When you have a website you want traffic. The question is how to build traffic without spending thousands of dollars. There are various methods but probably the most effective technique is that of article marketing.
So you may be wondering how article marketing can build backlinks. That is fair enough, I will explain this as best I can.
Let us start with a definition of backlinks. Basically a backlink is a one way link or url coming into your site from another. The name backlink refers to the fact that the link is pointing back to a different website.
The next logical step in this discussion is defining why backlinks are important to you and your website. In simple terms, the major search engines such as Google, MSN, and Yahoo rank websites for keywords used during searches. Websites with a larger number of backlinks are usually considered to be more authoritative and therefore will almost always rank higher in the search engines for the selected keywords.
What this means to you is that if you have a great number of backlinks you will receive optimal traffic and get ranked higher. This is free traffic that you will not pay money for.
And yes, it is true that you can spend the time required to request that another site link to yours. I have done this on many occasions with varying results. Sometimes I never hear back from the other webmaster and sometimes I get the link requested.
The beauty of getting backlinks via article marketing is that you do not have to make any direct requests at all. In fact, the people that are giving you the links are the ones that are grateful to you.
Now you may be wondering what I am talking about, so let me explain. When you write and submit a quality article other webmasters and ezine owners will see it. Some of them will use your content on their sites, blogs, or in their newsletters.
Because you have constructed a resource box that provides links to a particular webpage, blog or site you will in turn receive backlinks. Think about this concept for a moment: if you provide quality content your article will likely be found on many different websites as well as in several ezines.
What this means to you is a backlink from each of those sources via your resource box. It really could not get much easier! And the real beauty of this technique is that article marketing can be done with little or no out of pocket expense!

Use A Great Title
Always use your keywords or terms in your title. But you cannot stop there --- you have to have a title that is interesting, one that will pique the curiosity of your readers. At the same time that should accurately give a clue about what sort of content the reader can expect to find.
Sometimes a lousy article with a great title will receive lots of views. But the reader may quickly be turned off as he begins reading. After all, he is expecting to find some useful information.
If he doesn't he will never make it to your resource box.......that means you will not receive traffic - or sales - or subscriptions - or money - or, or , or!
The point is you will need to add some good content to go along with your great titlt if you are to get the desired results.

Write Fast, Keep The Flow!
The key to writing a lot of articles quickly is simply writing. Stop thinking about it and let the words in your mind flow onto the paper (or screen!).
When you are talking you don't have to think for minutes before deciding what to say -- writing should be the same way; write the way you speak.

The Research Is Already Done!
I received an email from a reader that said research was too time consuming and he really wasn't sure how to do it.
Good news - no matter what niche you are in or what topic under that niche you want to write about, you can find articles on the subject. Go to ezinearticles.com and search for articles on your topic.
Get ideas from the ones that have received lots of views. Read at least two or three and jot down notes that will help you remember main points. Then you are ready to write!
This is cutting your workload down because the bulk of your research has been done for you. Now put it in your own words and add you own unique thoughts and ideas. Viola! You will have a great article that was crafted easily and quickly.

Quickly Write Articles That Get Results
A quick answer to a common question; "How Can I write an article fast that will still be effective?"
Your writing speed will increase over time. The more you write the faster you will become at idea formation as well as typing. But to be even clearer, if you want to write quickly you will need to know what you are talking about. That is, research takes time. That time adds to your writing time because you cannot start putting your ideas down on paper until you have some real information to share.
As you begin writing your article a key is to relax. Don't get stressed out about the fact that you are writing an article. Instead, just let the words flow onto the paper. Write as if you are talking to someone. Keep a flow going so you will maintain their interest.
Effective articles provide useful information to the reader. Share information that will be helpful - just don't give away all your secrets in an article. Leave the reader wanting what you have to offer in your resource box.
If you would like to learn much, much more about article writing and marketing then check out my Article Marketing package. Get The Most From Your Articles!
I was reading a post in the Warrior Forum today about article marketing. One of the things that was mentioned repeatedly was that we sometimes forget to use and re-use our articles.
Don't forget that you can use your articles as web content and as blog posts. But that's not all - far from it! You can bundle them to create reports or ebooks resulting in your own product. They can be used as autoresponder content and even as an e-course.
You can use bits and pieces of your articles as ads for your products. Articles can be used to create audio content as well. The options are really endless. By using your imagination and a little creativity you can use each of your articles in multiple ways!

Bum Marketing
Do you use bum marketing? I do. Bum marketing has brought me a lot of money.
My first online income was made by me writing articles for others. The problem with that is when you are getting paid for a service you only receive a one-time payment for your work....even if you spend hours and hours on a project, you receive the payment and move on to your next assignment. In other words, it is much like a regular job in some ways.
Next I discovered that I could create products with my articles and finally I began using bum marketing to promote. You may or may not know about bum marketing. With this technique you do not need to have a product, a website, a list, ..... well, the point is that anyone can do this, even someone without any money or anything else. You simply need to write articles. That is how the method got the name 'bum marketing'.....
BTW, I have a great offer available on everything you need to get started with this method. Check out the information in the side panel of this blog! Become a bum and make money the easy way!

My Personal Strategy
When you read ebooks about article marketing you are sure to see that strategies vary from one writer to another. Although we all agree on the basic structure of writing and using article marketing each of us develop our own personal strategy and style that works best for us - or maybe it just fits our personality.
Whatever the logic is it is important to be yourself. Learn from the authorities. Begin with those methods and then personalize what you do.
My strategy for article marketing is as follows:
I decide what it is that I am going to promote - I choose a niche and then I find at least two or three products that are related to it.
Then I write a good number of articles to promote the products, usually about 30. I then assess the results that I am getting. If after 30 articles I do not see any results I will determine that the product is not worth spending extensive writing time on. So I will maybe only write an article or two a week for that product.
But if the results are promising I will begin what I call an article blast or blitz. I will write up to 100 articles for that product before I cut back to the 2 or 3 articles per week.
As I am decreasing my writing time on a product I will add a new one to take its place. This means that I am always writing and promoting. When I have done all I want to do in one niche I add another.
This has a snowball effect. Not only am I getting more and more articles out there but I am also building my virtual empire. This strategy seems to be working for me. Although I am not making the kind of money that I want to I am seeing positive results. Writing and article marketing has provided my start to online success.

Creating A Great Resource Box
When you have written a great article full of useful information and you do not see results you may wonder what went wrong. Of course that is the million dollar question because there are lots of variables that need to be considered.
But if the article is well-written and you are promoting a quality product or service then you will probably want to consider the resource box as a culprit. But remember, the article can only get you the targeted traffic to your site. If your squeeze page does not get sign ups you may need to tweak it.
For now let's deal with the resource box. First of all, it should not begin with information about you. Yes, some of the readers do want to know more about the writer but that is not the purpose of the article nor the resource box. You can share details about yourself through a complete profile on your site. Besides that, the reader can find out more about you through your profile at the article directory.
The point is that resource boxes offer you limited space to use as a small ad or promotion for your product or service. Use that space wisely. In order to get your readers to read the information that you include you should keep the flow of the article going. Some writers use the resource box as the last paragraph of the article and others simply write the first sentence or phrase as a continuation of the article.
Whichever method you use be sure to include your key terms and your link. check to see that your link is correct. You can always check out the resource boxes of other authors to use as an idea generator for your own. Additionally you can get "Article Marketing Plus..." which covers all aspects of article marketing. That will provide you with tips and strategies from experts around the Internet - people you know and trust like: Sean Mize, Dean Shainin, Steven Wagenheim, Jinger Jarrett, Jim Green, Chris Ellington, Michael Brown, Lisa Rae Preston, and many, many others, You can find out more about that great resource by clicking the link in the sidebar or by clicking here: Article Marketing Plus...

Article Writing - Consistency Is Key!
One of the most common questions I get from people is 'how many articles will I need to write before I see results?'
Unfortunately there is not a simple answer to that question. Why?......There are so many variables that come into play. First of all, you need to write good articles. This begins with you having a good knowledge base to work from. Then you need a great title and an article that flows. You have to keep the readers' attention or they will never reach your resource box.
Finally, your resource box has to be effective. Some writers use the resource box as the last paragraph of the article and others use the resource box as a continuation of the summary of the article. An important point is that the reader really is not concerned with who you are or what you have done. At this point his focus is hopefully on your product or service.
So do not spend a lot of time and space on talking about yourself. Use the resource box as a small promotion for your product. You can have plenty of information about yourself on your site.....but you need to get your readers there if they are going to convert into buyers!
Of course you need to have a quality product or service also. But the most important thing is that you may need to write only 10 articles to see results or it may take 100 articles. You need to be consistent.
I personally try to begin a new topic or niche with about 30 - 40 articles. If I see that the niche is promising I will continue writing for the product. If I have not seen any results from my efforts I will cut my loses there and only write an article or two per week on the topic. After about 100 articles have been written on a promising topic I will cut back to only writing a few each week for that niche.
Article marketing is a numbers game - the more you write the more odds are in your favor that you will see results.

Article Writing: Quick Tips
When you begin article marketing either you will need to write your own articles or have them outsourced. For many budget is a big issue and therefore they have no choice about the matter - they have to write their own articles.
Because of some of the emails I have gotten I thought I should add a post that provides the basic tips for writing articles.
To begin you need an attention grabbing title. Use your keywords and allow your title to alert the readers to what your article is about. Your first paragraph should be an introduction. Be sure to include your keywords.
The next two to four paragraphs should be the real story of your article. Keywords will be sprinkled throughout, wherever they naturally fit. Then add a summary paragraph. This should basically be a brief review of what you have told the reader and work to tie everything together.
End with your resource box. The first sentence in the resource box should read like a continuation of the article. Again, use your keywords.
That's it! It really is a simple process and the more you write the easier it gets and your speed will increase!

Writing Articles - Getting Started
I just received an email from a person new to the Internet. She says that she has blown her budget and she still needs to promote her website. Article writing is going to be used because she can do it without spending money.
The writer's complaint is that when she tries to write an article she simply finds herself staring at a blank computer screen. This causes her to completely lose interest and she gives up for yet another day.
I have heard lots of people deal with this sort of block. The way I avoid this is to have a plan about what I am going to write before I ever begin the process. To start I decide on a particular topic. It will of course relate to whatever I will be promoting.
If I do not feel confident that I know enough about the topic to write a compelling article I will do research first. Remember, you need to share useful information in your article.
Researching a topic is easy. All you have to do is visit ezine articles and look up a couple of articles that have already been written on your subject. Jot down anything specific that you want to remember. Then you can do a Google search and visit a related website or two. That should provide you with plenty of ideas for your article. Be sure to jot down short phrases to jog your mind as you write the article.
That short research project should supply you with enough information to write a nice article. Remember to write in a casual tone and keep in mind that you are only writing an article...you are not trying to create a great masterpiece that will be remembered in the next century! lol
I hope that information was helpful. You can get a free report all about article writing basics by completing the form on the sidebar. If you really want to skyrocket your article marketing efforts you can get my "Article Marketing Plus..." package. You will learn from experts that we all know and respect, people like; Sean Mize, Willie Crawford, Dean Shainin, Jinger Jarrett, Jim Green, Michael Brown, and many others. TWITTER HOW-TO TIP #79
TwittAd.com and Twittertise.com are examples of what is destined to be many plays in the Twitter Ad arena. In other words, a way (like Google Adsense, sorta) to monetize your Twitterings. I won't rattle anyones cage about whether this is good or bad because I feel it all depends on how it is done. Few people care if you make a little money along the way, provided you are also engaging in interesting or beneficial Twitterings. And I'd certainly hate to see a great Twitterer stop Twittering because they can't even afford to feed their dog.

Your articles will also bring you more traffic because people will read your articles and click on the link in your resource box. This is targeted traffic that is very likely to convert.
Articles help to establish you as an authority in your subject area. This will promote your credibility which means your readers will begin to trust your opinions and advice. That means when you suggest a service or product they are more likely to make the purchase.
The next post will tell you about other ways to use your articles. Be sure to get your free report - it will teach you the basics about writing articles....Use the sign-up form on the right!

Product Launch

Today I am very excited because I am putting the final touches on my new product launch. The actual launch date is September 15th. I hope it goes well because it has been a lot of work to get everything to come together as I wanted it to.
The product is a package that focuses on Article marketing - of course, but there are a couple of things that make this package unique. First of all the main ebook is comprised of contributions from some of the greatest Article marketers online. This one ebook alone is worth the cost of the package.
But the package also contains an ebook that teaches a step-by-step formula to selling resell products, an ebook about profiting with articles, an ebook about how to write an ebook and a short report about mind-mapping. Additionally, the bonuses are excellent resources for using when working on articles.
You really need to check this package out. It is awesome - and no, I am not biased! LOL

Using Articles To Build Credibility
As an online business person and Internet marketer your credibility is vital to building your business and creating your success. But how do you actually build credibility?
First of all it is important to remember that you must always present what the reader wants and needs. And in almost every case information is what the reader wants and needs. Your job is to provide quality information that is accurate and useful. This is true whether we are talking about web content, blog entries, articles or any other documentation.
Writing articles is perhaps one of the best ways to build your credibility. By sharing reliable and quality content your readers will come to trust and recognize you as an authority in the field. They will respect your knowledge and accept your advice --- even when your advice is the recommendation that they purchase a particular product or service.
By keeping your work honest and of the highest quality your credibility will grow. Your articles can be used for submission to article directories or as content for your website, blog, ads, and newsletter. In essence, articles can provide a type of 'one stop service' for your Internet marketing needs.
Don't forget to get your free report on the basics of article writing!

The Value Of Article Writing
I want to begin this blog with a little bit about myself - who I am and what I do.
I have been earning an income online now for about 18 months. The road has definitely not been straight and smooth...it's actually had lots of twists, turns, bumps, and even a few holes. But I eventually found that I could generate a steady income by writing - for others as well as for myself.
Writing has always been easy for me - I actually considered becoming a professional writer at one point. I love to write and the best part about that is that a large group of people either don't feel competent enough to write, have no interest in learning, or they simply have enough money that they would rather outsource their writing needs.
It is the people in those categories that make it easy to become a freelance writer. As for the people that would like to write but have reservations due to lack of skill, I say that anyone can learn to write. We all communicate somehow - and writing is simply communication on paper (or a computer screen, lol).
Anyway, I have found that a great way to write is by simply pretending that you are talking with a friend.
I will be creating posts to this blog in order to discuss ways of writing articles, and how to market them. Did you know that you can increase the traffic flow and your webpage ranking through article marketing? It works incredibly well!
Until next time...
Always Intention Your Success,
Debbie Allen
