TwittAd.com and Twittertise.com are examples of what is destined to be many plays in the Twitter Ad arena. In other words, a way (like Google Adsense, sorta) to monetize your Twitterings. I won't rattle anyones cage about whether this is good or bad because I feel it all depends on how it is done. Few people care if you make a little money along the way, provided you are also engaging in interesting or beneficial Twitterings. And I'd certainly hate to see a great Twitterer stop Twittering because they can't even afford to feed their dog.

I think TwitAds has a viable and non-intrusive offering that might not make you the Richard Branson of Twitter, but if it works for you, and you can make a few bucks - go for it. Keep your eye out for other alternative "Twitter Ad" and "Twitter Paid Post" ideas on the horizon.
